We like all aspects of book work. There's something very satisfying in working with an author or publisher from initial manuscript to finished book. We can provide input into layout, fonts and cover design which is so important to catch the eye of the potential reader. More than ever producing a book can be within the reach of us all, whether printed conventionally on the press or short run digital books for the extended family only.

We regularly print local books covering interesting histories of Herefordshire towns and villages or documenting the lives of its people. We also work effectively with self publishers, often in distant locations. We find that a mix of email and telephone calls and perhaps an opening and interim meeting can make the process painless and quick. Often we can support individuals embarking on a self published book project for the first time and provide re-assurance that the path they are about to follow is well established. Our work with Mary Sheaff on her title 'Tortoise Hill' is a good example and featured in our portfolio on the right.
